The Yolo County Coroner’s Office is investigating the death of a 21-year-old UC Davis student whose body was found Sunday in his Alvarado Avenue residence.
Davis police Sgt. Ton Phan said no foul play is believed to involved in the death of Ki Tae Kim, whose roommate phoned police shortly before 5:30 p.m. to report that Kim was unconscious and not breathing. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy conducted Monday afternoon was inconclusive regarding Kim’s cause of death, said Chief Deputy Coroner Gina Moya, who confirmed that the death does not appear suspicious in nature. Toxicology tests will be performed, a process that takes at least several weeks.
