The Woodland man whose fiancée is accused of killing the couple’s infant son pleaded not guilty to drug and ammunition charges Monday in Yolo Superior Court.
Frank Talliesen Rees, 29, was arrested March 6 when Yolo County sheriff’s detectives investigating the death of 3-week-old Justice Rees reported finding methamphetamine, a smoking pipe and ammunition, which Rees is prohibited from having due to a prior conviction, inside his home.
Currently free on bail, Rees is due back in court May 11 for a preliminary hearing before Judge David Rosenberg.
Rees’ fiancée Samantha Lee Green, 23, has pleaded not guilty to murder and child endangerment charges in connection with Justice’s Feb. 24 death near a Knights Landing slough. Her next court date is on Monday, April 13.
