A truck driver suffered minor injuries Monday morning in a freeway accident that snarled morning-commute traffic in Davis, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at about 6:10 a.m. on westbound Interstate 80 east of Richards Boulevard, where a box truck overturned and came to rest blocking two lanes, CHP Officer Pedro Leon said. The driver sustained an injury to his arm.
Both blocked lanes were reopened about 7:55 a.m., Leon said. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
