Police in West Sacramento are investigating a home-invasion robbery that occurred Wednesday morning.
Lt. Tod Sockman said officers were summoned at about 2:30 a.m. to the home in the 3600 block of Cooper Island Road, where two people reported they had been bound, and one of them beaten with a pool stick. The suspects fled after stealing an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspects, described only as African-American male adults, apparently gained entry to the house through an open back door, Sockman said. Anyone with information is asked to call the West Sacramento Police Department’s Investigations Division at 916-617-4915.
