Davis police arrested a 32-year-old man Sunday after he allegedly was caught photographing young girls under their clothing at the local Target store.
Now, investigators are seeking other possible victims of Tyler Dean Luke, a Davis resident, and asking them to come forward.
Lt. Glenn Glasgow said the probe began at about 1:45 p.m., when officers received a report of a man following two girls around the Second Street store and using a camera to take pictures of them under their skirts. Police tried to make contact with the suspect when they arrived on scene.
Glasgow said Luke “attempted to run from officers but was quickly caught in the store,” struggling with police as they took him into custody.
“During the investigation, it was revealed that Luke had been videotaping pre-teen girls under their clothing as they walked through the store,” Glasgow said. “In addition, Luke concealed/destroyed evidence from officers.”
Luke was lodged at the Yolo County Jail on charges including using video equipment to film under individuals’ clothing, tampering with evidence and resisting an officer with violence, Glasgow said. He was no longer in custody as of Monday afternoon and is expected to be arraigned next month in Yolo Superior Court.
