A two-car collision northwest of Davis sent three people to area hospitals Tuesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Kristin Lee Lomas, 47, of Davis, was traveling southbound on County Road 98 in a Chevy Suburban that was broadsided by a Dodge Dakota that was headed westbound on County Road 27, CHP Officer Bryan Konvalin said. The driver of the Dodge, 76-year-old Lee Juarez Polanco Sr. of Winters, is believed to have run a stop sign just before the 8:45 p.m. collision, Konvalin reported.
The crash caused major damage to both vehicles and complaint-of-pain injuries to both drivers and a passenger in the Suburban, Konvalin said. All three were transported to hospitals in Davis and Vacaville for treatment.
