Davis firefighters dislodged a car from the railroad tracks near Second and J streets late Saturday night after a motorist who was unfamiliar with the city (and may have been speeding, one witness told The Enterprise) inadvertently left the roadway and drove onto the tracks shortly after 11 p.m. No one was injured, and “the occupants were very grateful and were happy to be on their way,” Fire Department officials said in an Instagram post.
