Davis police received reports Friday about a suspicious man approaching children at Arroyo Park in West Davis.
According to the Police Department’s online bulletin, the man told the children he was on the phone with their parents and had been instructed to pick them up. He was last seen in the park at about 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Sgt. Dan Powell said officers searched the area but was unable to find the man, described as a bald white male adult in his late 30s, about six feet tall with a muscular build, wearing a gray shirt, cargo shorts and a black face mask. He may have had an accent, though the type was not specified.
