Davis police received a report of an armed robbery at the 7-Eleven store at Fifth and L streets early Tuesday morning.
According to Lt. Art Camacho, the unidentified suspect entered the store shortly before 2 a.m. and pointed a silver handgun at the clerk while demanding money. He fled northbound on L Street with about $150 in cash.
“Officers canvassed the surrounding area, but were unable to locate the suspect,” described as a black male adult in his mid-20s, about 5 feet tall with a medium build and black eyes, Camacho said. He was last seen wearing a white jacket, black pajama pants and a black cloth covering his face.
No injuries were reported, and the investigation is continuing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400.
