Woodland police say a man in custody for an alleged kidnapping attempt in November is now facing a new set of charges.
Kyle Michael Hall, 23, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of possessing child pornography, Sgt. Brett Hancock said. He remains in custody at the Yolo County Jail.
Hancock said the images of children involved in sexual activity was found among Hall’s belongings following his Nov. 28 arrest for allegedly trying to kidnap a woman in the parking lot of the Westgate Shopping Center on West Main Street in Woodland. The woman told police a man grabbed her by the hair and pulled her toward his truck as she walked in between vehicles, but she was able to flee.
Hall is due back in Yolo Superior Court on Jan. 10 for a pretrial hearing in the kidnapping case.
The pornography incident remains under investigation, and the children pictured in the material have not been identified, Hancock said Friday.
