Davis police arrested a 19-year-old man early this morning in connection with an ongoing series of indecent exposure incidents on North Davis-area greenbelts.
Andres Navarro of Davis “was caught in the act” during the undercover operation that took place shortly before 1 a.m. today on the greenbelt east of Catalina Drive, Sgt. Ariel Pineda said.
As officers confronted Navarro, the suspect allegedly brandished what appeared to be a handgun, which turned out to be a replica, Pineda said. He was booked into the Yolo County Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure, exhibiting a firearm, assault with a deadly weapon and resisting arrest.
It was not immediately clear whether Navarro has been linked to all the indecent exposure incidents in the area — about 10 since late March, Pineda said.
