A search of a West Davis residence last week led to the arrests of two suspects in a possible bike-theft ring, Davis police said.
Lt. Paul Doroshov said the Friday morning search of the home at 916 Drake Drive was conducted by the police department’s Special Assignment and Focused Enforcement (SAFE) team, members of which reported finding multiple bikes, one of which was confirmed stolen in Davis about two months ago.
Other bikes at the residence had serial numbers that were altered or removed, he added.
Erin Heather Branyan, 36; and Sean Paul-Ryan Farrell, 26; both of Davis, were arrested on suspicion of grand theft, possession of stolen property and conspiracy, Doroshov said. Both were booked into the the Yolo County Jail.
