A local transient is facing vandalism and public intoxication charges following an incident Wednesday that began at a service station, Davis police said.
Jeromey Thomas Ng, 26, was arrested at Fifth and K streets, moments after he allegedly entered the Shell station at Richards Boulevard and Olive Drive at about 7 a.m. and doused the premises with salsa while screaming at the clerk, Lt. Tom Waltz said.
From there, Ng reportedly fled on his bike, striking and breaking a side mirror on an occupied vehicle at Third and E streets during his getaway. He was booked at the Yolo County Jail after both the clerk and motorist identified him as the suspect, Waltz said.
