A man reported being robbed at gunpoint Sunday night on Covell Boulevard, Davis police said.
The victim told police he was walking on Covell near Oak Avenue at about 10:30 p.m. when he was confronted by a man armed with a semiautomatic handgun who forced him into some nearby bushes, then fled after taking the victim’s property, Lt. Glenn Glasgow said.
Police described the suspect as a Hispanic male in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-8, with a slender build and “scruffy” facial hair. He was last seen headed eastbound toward Catalina Drive, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants with red stripes down the legs.
