Davis police arrested three Solano County men on vandalism and conspiracy charges Monday after allegedly catching them in the act.
Lt. Glenn Glasgow said officers who responded to a 9:15 p.m. report of vandalism in the 900 block of Olive Drive arrived to find the three suspects defacing the business with paint. They were taken into custody as they attempted to leave the scene.
The men were taken to a holding facility at the Davis police station, where according to Glasgow two of the suspects caused further damage to city property.
All three suspects — Rene Garcia-Ambrocio and Preston Peck-Canela, both 19-year-old Dixon residents, and Vacaville resident Anthony Wright, 20 — were lodged at the Yolo County Jail on suspicion of felony vandalism and conspiracy. Wright and Garcia-Ambrocio face an additional misdemeanor vandalism charge for the incident at the police station, Glasgow said.
