The Davis Police Department is investigating a reported hate incident at Holmes Junior High School.
Lt. Glenn Glasgow said that, sometime over the weekend, someone drew a swastika in the dirt on the running track at the Drexel Drive campus, along with an unidentified person’s name.
School officials reported the incident following its discovery shortly before 6:30 a.m. Monday.
“There was no permanent damage, and no responsible party has been identified,” Glasgow said.
