Two separate crashes in Yolo County on Wednesday resulted in drunken-driving arrests, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Curtis Lee Asby, 42, of Davis, was arrested following a 12:15 p.m. collision on Highway 128 west of County Road 87, where Asby’s Honda Civic ran off the roadway, ran through a wire fence and struck a tree, CHP Officer Bryan Konvalin said. Asby sustained minor injuries in the crash.
A 7:45 p.m. crash on eastbound Interstate 80 near Pole Line Road in Davis resulted in the arrest of Ahmad Nadim Nessar, 39, of West Sacramento, who according to Konvalin made an unsafe turn and struck a big rig he was in the process of passing. No injuries were reported.
Both men were booked at the Yolo County Jail following their arrests.
