UPDATE: Rosemary Pearl has been found safe, Davis police announced shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday.
Davis police are seeking the public’s help to find a 65-year-old local woman whose family reported her missing Friday.
Rosemary Pearl was last seen at about 8:30 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of Chestnut Lane, but both she and her vehicle were missing when her husband returned home that evening, according to Davis police reports.
Relatives are concerned because Pearl has a medical condition that affects her memory and can cause disorientation, Davis police Lt. Paul Doroshov said.
No foul play is suspected in Pearl’s disappearance, and it’s believed she may be headed to the Chico area, Doroshov said.
Pearl is described as a white female, about 5-foot-5 and 160 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green sweater and dark-colored pants, and she may be driving a red Ford Escape with the California license-plate number 4ZXS807.
Anyone with information about Pearl’s whereabouts, or who may have seen the missing woman or her vehicle, is urged to call the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400.
