Two people were hospitalized early Saturday as a result of a three-car collision on Interstate 80 in Davis, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The series of events began at about 1 a.m. when the driver of an Acura Integra made an unsafe turning movement and struck a guard rail, Officer Cindy Leal said. That crash prompted the driver of a Subaru to come to a stop, but it was hit by a third car, a Toyota Corolla, which then hit the wrecked Acura.
Leal said the drivers of the Acura and Corolla were transported to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento with complaint-of-pain injuries.
