An East Davis man was jailed Thursday after allegedly threatening his neighbors with a knife, police said.
Lt. Glenn Glasgow said officers were dispatched at about 2 a.m. to an apartment complex in the 800 block of Pole Line Road, where a woman reported that her neighbor “had come to her door with a knife on three separate occasions and demanded entry into her apartment.”
When another neighbor confronted the man, the suspect brandished a knife at him and threatened him, Glasgow said.
Officers then made contact with the suspect, 35-year-old Emilio Perez, who, according to Glasgow, was uncooperative and allegedly tried to flee into his apartment before being taken into custody. Perez was lodged at the Yolo County Jail on suspicion of criminal threats, brandishing a weapon and resisting arrest.
