Two people were hospitalized Tuesday following separate accidents in the Davis city limits, police said.
Lt. Glenn Glasgow said 20-year-old Alex Bianco was biking northbound on A Street at Russell Boulevard at about 4:15 p.m. and was struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by Davis resident Shantal Shamoiel, 37. Bianco was taken to the UC Davis Medical Center with minor injuries, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
At about 6:50 p.m., a motorcyclist was taken to the Med Center with minor injuries after being involved in a solo crash at Moore Boulevard and Rockwell Drive in Wildhorse, Glasgow said. The cyclist’s name was not available Wednesday.
