A Davis man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving early Wednesday morning after his car struck a house, police said.
Both the Davis police and fire departments responded at about 1 a.m. to the incident in the 1100 block of Redwood Lane, where they arrived to find the driver, 24-year-old Axel Rodriguez-Saenz, near the vehicle. He was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested at the scene, Davis police Lt. Glenn Glasgow said.
The home sustained only minor damage, and no one inside was injured, Glasgow said.
