Davis police arrested a local man who allegedly pulled a gun on a process server Saturday.
Tony Villanueva, 65, was taken into custody following the incident, which Lt. Glenn Glasgow said was reported at about 5:30 p.m. after the alleged victim tried to serve court papers at Villanueva’s home in the 900 block of Plum Lane.
According to Glasgow, Villanueva “became upset at the victim and made criminal threats. Villanueva retreated back into his home and then emerged a short time later pointing a firearm at the victim,” who left the area and called police.
Villanueva was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats and brandishing a firearm. Police recovered the gun, Glasgow said.
