A 27-year-old San Francisco woman was jailed Tuesday after allegedly brandishing a knife at an Amtrak conductor.

Davis police Lt. Glenn Glasgow said Monyea Monique Johnson “became agitated” at the conductor, who had asked to her leave a train at the downtown station after failing to pay for a ticket. She allegedly spit on the conductor and threatened him as she pointed a knife in his direction, prompting a call to police at 12:35 p.m.

Johnson was taken into custody and lodged at the Yolo County Jail, allegedly spitting a second time at her arresting officer during the ride to the Woodland facility, Glasgow said. She was booked on suspicion of criminal threats, brandishing a deadly weapon, battery and battery on a peace officer. No injuries were reported.
