WOODLAND — Free on bail, a Grizzly Flats man accused of taking part in an indecent-exposure incident in Davis will wait until next month to enter a plea.
Nicholas Robert Bowen, 61, appeared in Yolo Superior Court on Tuesday with his attorney, Robert Blasier, who asked to postpone the plea entry until Aug. 9, when Bowen’s co-defendant is scheduled to be arraigned. Blasier declined to comment after the brief court proceeding.
Bowen and his co-defendant, 30-year-old Wenyi Xu, face charges of conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor, lewd and obscene conduct, child annoyance and disorderly conduct in connection with the July 10 incident at Community Park. Police said Xu exposed herself to two children while Bowen photographed the act.
The suspects, both of whom are state employees, were arrested a short distance from the park after a witness called police. Xu, of Folsom, also is free on bail.
