Davis police are investigating several reports of graffiti vandalism stemming from the weekend verdict in the George Zimmerman trial.
On bus shelters in West and South Davis, an unknown suspect of suspects spray-painted messages such as “Racism still exists” and “Justice for Trayvon,” according to the Davis Police Department’s online bulletin. “Zimmerman = Injustice” was tagged in the bike tunnel connecting Olive Drive to downtown Davis, police said.
Police took 10 additional graffiti reports on Monday but it was unclear whether all stemmed from the Florida court case.
