Davis police arrested a woman on drunken-driving and child-endangerment charges early Monday outside a South Davis hotel.
Lt. Art Camacho said bystanders summoned officers to the Days Inn on Chiles Road after the suspect, identified as 23-year-old transient Thalia Cisneros, drove into the parking lot and confronted another woman there at about 4 a.m.
According to Camacho, police officers determined that Cisneros had traveled there under the influence of alcohol among other offenses, which “included her unrestrained 2-year-old son in the back seat of the vehicle.” An open can of beer was found in the car’s drink holder, he added.
Cisneros was taken into custody after failing a field-sobriety test at the scene and booked into the Yolo County Jail, Camacho said.
