Woodland police are seeking the suspects in a battery that occurred early Sunday morning.
Sgt. Victoria Danzl said an officer was flagged down at about 3:20 a.m. by a man suffering from a head injury. He reported that he and a friend had been beaten by multiple suspects in the 1200 block of Alice Street following a disagreement with the second victim’s girlfriend.
“The victims thought a pipe may have been used during the assault, but (were) unsure,” said Danzl, who described the suspects only as Latino males.
Both victims were taken by ambulance to Woodland Memorial Hospital for treatment of their injuries, which Danzl said were not life-threatening.
Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Woodland Police Department at (530) 661-7800.
