Woodland police are seeking two suspects who attacked and robbed a man early Sunday morning.
Sgt. Aaron Delao said officers were summoned at about 4:40 a.m. Sunday to Woodland Memorial Hospital, where the 30-year-old victim was being treated for non-life-threatening wounds to his head and arm. He told officers he was robbed of his jacket and keys while walking in the area of West Street and West Lincoln Avenue.
During the robbery, one of the men struck the victim repeatedly with “an edged or bladed weapon,” Delao said. That person was described as a white male in his mid- to late 20s, wearing a long-sleeved maroon shirt and dirty blue jeans.
Anybody with information about this assault and robbery is encouraged to call the Woodland Police Department at 530-661-7800.
