Yolo County sheriff’s investigators are on the lookout for two suspects who robbed a convenience store Tuesday night.
According to Sgt. Matt Davis, deputies were called at about 10 p.m. to reports of a robbery at the AM/PM market at 16435 County Road 99, north of the Woodland city limit. Witnesses there described two males wearing black ski masks and black hooded sweatshirts entering the store and demanding cash from the store clerk.
“One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and a round was discharged during the commission of the crime. Fortunately, nobody was injured,” Davis said. The suspects fled southbound toward Woodland with an undisclosed amount of money.
