The Woodland Squad Club will host its sixth annual Fallen Heroes Memorial Celebrity Golf Classic & Food Festival on Monday, Sept. 18, at the El Macero Country Club.
The proceeds of this tournament will benefit the California Association of Highway Patrolman Widows & Orphans Trust Fund, Woodland Squad Club and other local charities throughout the region.
In light of the recent tragic deaths of Sacramento CHP Officer Lucas F. Celebrities who will attend the event are Vida Blue of the Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants; Tony “The Tiger” Lopez, a three-time world boxing champion; Loreto Garza, a former light welterweight boxing champion; Eric Wright of the San Francisco 49ers; Mervyn “Swervin’ ” Fernandez of the Oakland Raiders; Ron Fellows of the Oakland Raiders and Dallas Cowboys; Harold Pressley of the Sacramento Kings; Ferric Collins of the New England Patriots; CBS 13 anchor Sam Shane; “Back to the Future” actors Donald Fullilove and Jeffrey Weissman; and actor Rick Ravanello of “The Cave” and “Hart’s War.”
