Davis police arrested a 26-year-old woman Sunday on suspicion of domestic violence.
Laura Nicole Putnam was contacted by officers at about 1:15 p.m. in the area of Sixth and G streets, where witnesses reported an in-progress disturbance between her and a man, according to Lt. Paul Doroshov.
“Officers determined that Putnam and the victim had been dating,” Doroshov said. “Based on the initial investigation, officers suspected that Putnam slapped and pushed the victim. Officers also suspected that Putnam had thrown rocks at the victim’s vehicle, damaging the windshield.”
Putnam, a Davis resident, was arrested on misdemeanor domestic violence charges and booked into the Yolo County Jail.
