The Davis Fire Department reported two CPR saves on patients in recent days.

Shortly before 7 a.m. Monday, fire and ambulance crews were summoned to a home on Caravaggio Drive in Wildhorse, where a female patient was not breathing and had no pulse, Capt. Richard Moore said.

Emergency personnel were able to restore breathing and a heartbeat through CPR, and the woman was transported to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento for further treatment.

“It’s very nice to have that result,” Moore said.

Crews reported another CPR save five days earlier, on the afternoon of July 19, involving a male patient who also was found unresponsive in his home, Capt. Roland Pussich said. Further details were not available Tuesday.
