A solo motorcycle collision claimed the life of a 55-year-old Sacramento man Wednesday night just east of Davis.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man was riding a Harley Davidson eastbound on County Road 32B near County Road 105 at about 8:30 p.m. when for unknown reasons the motorcycle left the roadway, traveled down a dirt embankment and struck a concrete drainage wall.
The motorcyclist, whose name had not been released by coroner’s officials as of this morning, died at the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
