A Davis woman faces drunken driving and child endangerment charges following her arrest downtown on Saturday night, a Davis Police Department spokesman said.
Rebecca Green Conners, 31, was contacted by police at about 8:45 p.m., a half-hour after staff from a G Street restaurant called to report they had refused service to a woman who appeared highly intoxicated, then drove away from the area with two children inside her car, according to Lt. Tom Waltz.
An officer spotted the vehicle and pulled it over at First and E streets, arresting Conners after she failed a field sobriety test, Waltz said. She was booked into the Yolo County Jail.
The children, ages 5 and 3, were transported to the Davis police station, where a family friend took custody of them, Waltz said.
