Woodland police are investigating a double stabbing that left two young men hospitalized Friday night.
The two injured victims, ages 16 and 22, approached a woman in a parking area on Donnelly Circle at about 8 p.m. and asked to be taken the hospital, Sgt. Ted Ruiz said. The woman drove them to the Woodland Memorial Hospital emergency room.
Both were transferred to the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento due to the seriousness of their wounds, Ruiz said. Officers searched the Donnelly Circle/Yolano Drive neighborhood but found no related evidence or witnesses to the crime.
Detectives with the Yolo County Gang Task Force also responded and took over the investigation, Ruiz said. Anyone with information is urged to call the Woodland Police Department at 530-666-2411.
