Woodland police are investigating a pair of weekend robberies involving pizza delivery drivers.

The first incident occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of West Cross Street. The driver told police he arrived at the house to find no one home, and as he returned to his car, he was robbed of cash and the pizza by two men armed with a pocket knife and a stick, Sgt. Victoria Danzl said.

The robbers were described as Latino male juveniles, one about 6feet tall and 220 pounds wearing a ski mask, white T-shirt and baggy jeans. The other was about 5-foot-6 and 160 pounds, wearing a ski mask and dark clothing, Danzl said.

At about 8 p.m. Sunday, a 25-year-old deliveryman reported being robbed in front of 25 East Keystone Ave. The suspect fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash. He was described as a white male, 20-30 years old, standing about 6 feet tall and weighing 180 pounds. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt at the time.

No injuries resulted from either incident. Anyone with information about either incident is asked to call the Woodland Police Department at 530-661-7800.
