The Yolo County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a fatal stabbing in Woodland as Ronald Antonio, a 41-year-old Woodland resident.
Antonio suffered multiple stab wounds to his torso at the Casa Del Sol mobile home park at 709 East St., where officers were dispatched shortly after 10:30 p.m. Tuesday to investigate reports of an altercation.
Antonio died at the scene.
Police later arrested four suspects in connection with the homicide, Woodland’s third of the year: Alexis Ivan Velasquez, 18; Justin Mathew Gonzalez, 22; Cynthia Maria Tello, 23; and Vanessa Ramos, 22. All four were charged with murder and gang enhancements, and the two women also were charged with being an accessory after the fact.
All four are being held without bail at the Yolo County Jail, their arraignments scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday in Yolo Superior Court.
In addition to the stabbing, police continue to investigate the drive-by shooting that occurred while officers were at the crime scene. Authorities said an occupant of the vehicle yelled derogatory remarks at the officers and fired several shots, one of which narrowly missed them and struck an unoccupied police vehicle.
Anyone with information about either crime is urged to call Woodland Police Dispatch at 530-666-2411.
