Family and friends of Woodland homicide victim Arnulfo Bermudez Jr. will hold a carwash Sunday morning to help cover funeral costs and start an education fund for the victim’s 12-year-old son.
The carwash begins at 8:30 a.m. outside Rico’s Italian Pizza, 171 W. Main St. in Woodland. Donations of any amount will be accepted with gratitude, organizers say.
Bermudez, 31, was fatally shot by an unknown suspect early Wednesday morning while jump-starting a friend’s car on Community Lane. The homicide remains under investigation, with no arrests made as of Saturday.
