Two people are facing robbery charges after allegedly taking an elderly man’s property in Woodland early Tuesday.
Yolo County sheriff’s Sgt. Matt Davis said deputies received a report at 12:30 a.m. of an elderly male being robbed of his cell phone and car keys outside the AM/PM convenience store on County Road 99. They were gone when officers arrived, but soon were spotted inside a nearby Denny’s restaurant
Deputies recovered the man’s property and took both suspects into custody, Davis said. Lacey Castleberry, 31, of Sacramento, and William Horton, 38, of South Carolina, were booked into the Yolo County Jail.
