The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office reported the arrests of two Shasta Lake residents Monday on suspicion of possessing heroin and methamphetamine for sale.
According to a news release, the suspects were contacted shortly before 11 a.m. while seated in a parked vehicle at the northbound Interstate 5 rest stop in Dunnigan.
“After observing evidence of drug activity in the cab of the vehicle, a search of the vehicle was conducted. Nearly two ounces of methamphetamine and just under of seven ounces of heroin were located concealed beneath the hood of the vehicle,” the news release said.
Ou Saefong, 30; and Darcie Biddle, 27; were booked into the Yolo County Jail, facing charges including possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of narcotics for sale, officials said.
