Davis police arrested a 14-year-old boy on burglary charges Wednesday.
According to Lt. Ton Phan, the Davis teen was identified as a suspect in a burglary that occurred sometime between June 3 and June 8 in the 2000 block of Imperial Avenue, where the burglar entered through an unlocked window and took a iPad as well as several piggy banks.
Officers recovered the property during a search of the boy’s F Street residence and lodged the teen at Yolo County Juvenile Hall on suspicion of burglary and possession of stolen property, Phan said.
