Residents of a Davis sorority house awoke Wednesday to a mess in their front yard that police are investigating as a case of vandalism.
Lt. Paul Doroshov said the occupants of Alpha Phi, 327 Russell Blvd., discovered about 200 dead feeder goldfish strewn on their front porch, their bikes and bushes wrapped in plastic wrap, and the brakes on some of the bikes disassembled. Someone also rifled through a couple of cars and stole a wallet, reports indicate.
The incident occurred sometime between 2:30 and 6:45 a.m. While possibly carried out as a prank, “we are taking this seriously — we just don’t have any leads to investigate,” Doroshov said.
