A Sacramento man on parole for arson found himself on the wrong side of the law again after allegedly breaking into and ransacking a Woodland Hallmark store, police said.
Drew Dean Biondo, 29, was arrested shortly after 12:30 a.m. Wednesday after officers responded to reports of a man entering the store at 375 W. Main St. through a broken glass window, Sgt. Aaron Delao said. He was apprehended by a police K-9 after reportedly ignoring commands to surrender to police.
Biondo was treated for bite injuries at Woodland Memorial Hospital before being lodged at the Yolo County Jail on suspicion of burglary, obstructing police and violating parole, Delao said. The Hallmark store, meanwhile, sustained an estimated $10,000 worth of damage.
