A 23-year-old Elk Grove man faces vehicle theft charges following his arrest Saturday night outside a South Davis restaurant.
Lt. Glenn Glasgow said it was Nathaniel Macedon’s alleged inquiries to customers about where he could score drugs that prompted an employee of Del Taco on Research Park Drive to call police at about 9:15 p.m. Officers arrived to find Macedon in the parking lot, sitting in a vehicle that had been reported stolen from the Bay Area the day before.
Police also learned that Macedon was on parole from the California Youth Authority, resulting in him being lodged at the Yolo County Jail on a parole hold in addition to the car-theft charge, Glasgow said.
