Two people reported being robbed at gunpoint Sunday night in downtown Davis, police said.
Lt. Glenn Glasgow said the victims were walking westbound on Second Street near A Street at about 10:05 p.m. when they were stopped by two men who brandished a silver handgun and demanded their property. They handed over cell phones, a wallet and duffel bag before fleeing to call police.
Officers responded to the area but were unable to find the suspects, who were last seen walking eastbound on Second Street, Glasgow said.
One of the robbers was described as an African-American male in his early 20s, 6-foot-2 and 180 pounds, with an afro-style haircut, wearing jeans and a long-sleeved black-and-white striped shirt. The other was a Latino male in his early 20s, 5-foot-10 and 180 pounds, last seen wearing jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and a blue baseball cap.
