Woodland police are investigating a burglary that cost an electronics store thousands of dollars in losses.
Sgt. Brett Hancock reported that officers were dispatched at 12:50 a.m. Thursday to Best Buy, 2165 Bronze Star Drive, where the business’ burglary alarm had sounded.
“Within minutes of being dispatched, officers arrived only to find suspects had made entry into the Best Buy through a back door,” Hancock said in a news release. “The suspects cut through a roll-up door and stole a large quantity of small electronic items.”
Preliminary estimates put the store’s losses at more than $10,000, Hancock said. The identity of the suspects remains unknown.
