Davis police arrested a 31-year-old Capitola man Wednesday morning in response to reports of an attempted strong-arm robbery.
At about 6:45 a.m., Michael Brantley allegedly approached an employee of a business at Third and D streets and demanded that person’s phone and car keys, but the victim punched Bentley twice and left the scene. Officers were called to the scene and arrested Brantley following a short foot pursuit.
The victim declined prosecution, resulting in Brantley being arrested on suspicion of resisting an officer, Glasgow said. He was lodged at the Yolo County Jail.
