A motorist was hospitalized Friday morning after colliding head-on with a Unitrans bus at a Davis intersection, police and fire officials said.
Lt. Glenn Glasgow said the female driver of a Ford Ranger, which was traveling north on F Street, may have suffered a medical emergency prior to the 10:15 a.m. crash, causing her to veer toward the bus that was stopped at the intersection of F and East 14th streets.
The woman, whose name was not released, was transported to Kaiser Vacaville with minor injuries, according to the Davis Fire Department. No one on the bus, which was carrying about 10 passengers, was injured, Glasgow said.
