A Davis man told police that on Monday his dog was stolen from inside his house on the 400 block of East Eighth Street.
According to police: a 23-year-old man said that between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m., someone entered the residence and took his dog, a brown mini Australian shepherd, that has been locked in a bedroom. There were no signs of forced entry.
The dog, Lily, weighs about 20 pounds and has black paws. She was wearing a pink collar but no tags.
